ABOUT CHARLIE

Charlie Munday is a performer and choreographer based in New York City.

Born in Australia, Charlie gained his love of theatre through local community theatre and dance schools. His favourite Australian regional credits include: 'The Addams Family' (Lucas Beineke), 'Disney’s Mary Poppins' (Neleus/Dance Captain) and the Kander and Ebb classic, 'Chicago' (Featured Ensemble).

Charlie moved to the United States in 2016 to study musical theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City. Since graduating in early 2018, Charlie has appeared on stages across the US including The Mac-Haydn Theatre, The Iron Bridge Dinner Theatre and The Cumberland County Playhouse. Notable credits include John Caleo in Holding The Man (NYC premiere),  Eddie, "Who's Got The Pain" in Damn Yankees, Rudolpho in Matilda and Jimmy in Thoroughly Modern Millie. 


Charlie has made a name for himself as a choreographer, receiving several award nominations from Broadway World Pennsylvania, Broadway World Nashville and Nashville's First Night Awards. His favourite choreography credits so far have been 'MAMMA MIA!', 'Elf: The Musical' and 'Godspell'.
